One of these ranks must be included somewhere within your character information when you register. Your character name will turn the color of your rank once it has been accepted. Please read the 'Prior Fabula [Background Info.]" before looking at ranks for your character. The brighter the color, the low lower in rank your character is. For example, the Apprentice Duco is a brighter color than a Master Duco. If you can't decided on a rank yourself and you want someone to choose a rank for you, PM Ly or anyone on the 'Site Staff'.
Site Owner
*This rank has nothing to do with the actual in character plot of the site, just the out of character portion.* The only person that should ever be in this member group and have this rank is the site owner them self. Currently, our site owner is Ly. She is the creator of the Vafer.
Site Staff
*This rank has nothing to do with the actual in character plot of the site, just the out of character portion.* This is the special group of people chosen by the site owner to help them run the site. There will only be 2 or 3 of them at a time.

High Council
The highest ranking members of society. The Council is only made up of three members at one time, they share leadership of the entire Vafer island. It is a constant battle between the three of them for the most power. Since there is an odd number, they never really agree unanimously on anything. Once a High Council member passes away or retires (neither of which happens very often) they elect a Master to become a member of the High Council in there place. There is one Council member for the Scripsi, one for the Duco, and one for the Oro.
Master Duco
This is the rank of Duco that helps to educate the Apprentice Duco. They usually enjoy teaching, and are very close to the Council in rank. They hold the power to say whether or not an Apprentice is Sicco.
Duco
This is the rank of Duco that carries out every day life. They have already completed their apprentice training and can hold any jobs of their choosing.
Apprentice Duco
This is the rank of Duco that is still in training. They are taught the ways of the Duco by a Master Duco that is their teacher. At any time, if they do not display enough skill with illustration or maybe if the Master just feels annoyed that day, an Apprentice Duco can be declared Sicco.
Master Scripsi
This is the rank of Scripsi that helps to educate the Apprentice Duco. They usually enjoy teaching, and are very close to the Council in rank. They hold the power to say whether or not an Apprentice is Sicco.
Scripsi
This is the rank of Scripsi that carries out every day life. They have already completed their apprentice training and can hold any jobs of their choosing.
