Hello :D I have some questions for you before I start making my first character. - What style of clothing would the citizens be wearing? I figured it wouldn't be modern clothing but I wasn't sure. Something of viking nature perhaps?
- What exactly can each of the three types of characters do? I understand that they create things with their talents but is there a limit to this, like how often or how much one can create?
- What technology is available? Is there any new and different technologies that only the Valferians developed?
That's all, for now. :P

All good questions to be asking! - Yes, there clothing would probably be a mix of colonial European with some Viking and late Roman touches. The English where the last and longest contact they had with the outside world so their influence would be most prominent of the three.
- I suppose that like most powers, they get tired out if used frequently. It would take effort to write an entire book like it would to draw a detailed illustration. Probably some mental-strain effects as well. The Oro would be the least effected by a constant use of their skills. The more mastery you have over your skill, the more stamina and strength you would have. The only limitation on creation would be how much energy you have. With the book writings and drawings, they would have to be approved by the Council first. The illusionists would have the least amount of regulation, since their power only lasts temporarily.
- Technology would only have progressed as far as colonial ages with some extra things like boats, metal-working, and stone-working available to the Vafer. Nothing electronic or 'high-tech'. As for what the Vaferians have developed on their own, feel free to make up your own stuff for that field.

Thanks. That clears a lot of things up. My character application should be up in the next couple of days.

I have another question! At what age does the apprenticeship start and what age do they 'graduate'?

Apprenticeship starts when they are sevenish or even younger. Old enough to absorb information Ends when the master thinks they've completed their training.
